Cheviot View Farmhouse is situated in the hamlet of Shotton, just off the A1, about 12 miles North of Newcastle.

It can be reached from the South by taking the second slip road which is sign posted Stannington Station. At the first round about go right under the A1 carriageway. At the second round about go right again and join the South bound carriage of the A1. Travel for approximately 1 mile and then take a sharp left hand turn in front of the fly over, this is signposted Shotton. This is our farm road and the farmhouse is facing you as you go up the road.

Travelling from the North is the same as the instructions from the South after joining he A1 carriageway heading South.
